Finnish Shop Museum
The Finnish Shop Museum located in Valkeala tells an interesting story about the history of shop keeping in Finland.
The museum is built in and old building that used to work as a shop for the village. The area also has a summer theater, so the museum and the surroundings provide an interesting destination for the whole family.
The museum is open during the summer season from Tuesday to Sunday at 12:00 – 18:00 o’clock. Entrance fee is 7€. 18-year olds and under for free.
The museum has an exhibition that changes regularly and this summer the theme is “Busy hands”. The exhibition is part of the official celebration for Finland’s 100 years of independence.
