Villa Ruths was built in 1914, designed by architect Gunnar Asplund. The manor is set in beautiful parkland at Koskeranta on the banks of the Kymi River, in the town centre. The building has served as the official residence of the director of the paper mill (now UPM) . Today, the manor is in the hands of a family business Tervolin Oy. Jesse and Paula bought the property and restored it to its former glory. Villa Ruths offers licensed catering services, or you can simply hire the space and bring everything with you. The wonderful interiors have seen children baptised, weddings danced, graduations and birthdays celebrated, lost loved ones remembered, corporate conferences, training events and important meetings.
