In addition, we organize continuing education for church, social and health care workers. We also offer rooms for hire, accommodation and catering services. We are located in Iitti.

Perheniemi Institute offers inspiring, constructive and useful training courses, short courses and seminars starting all year round.
In the historic rural manor setting our institute, you can study and gain insights in a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere.

The surroundings provide the perfect venue not just to study, but also for events and celebrations, outdoor activities and recreation. You can stay at the institute in reasonably-priced hostel rooms throughout the year. We can offer full board for up to 102 people. On campus, it is also possible to stay in a tent, caravan, or camper vans.

The institute facilities for hire consist of meeting rooms (5-10 people), seminar rooms (15-20 people) and large spaces (manor 50+ people, banqueting hall for 100 people). The institute also has a well-equipped teaching kitchen. Parties can be held in the intimate manor house or in the great hall in the main building, which is also a consecrated church space. The institute kitchen provides delicious catering services for all occasions.

At Perheniemi Institute we show our commitment to ecology and closeness to nature in everything we do. We get our water from a spring and 100% of our electrical energy is produced by wind power. The logs used for heating are local, clean and renewable bioenergy. The institute’s waste water treatment plant uses a natural reed bed filtration system.
