Besides the domestic and foreign drama, the repertoire includes comedies, family shows and musicals. Musical talent is Kouvola Theatre’s forte!

As well as 5-7 premières a year, the programme includes a variety of guest performances. The theatre has an audience of about 40,000 per season (September-May). Backstage tours give groups an interesting new perspective on how the theatre works.

The theatre restaurant serves savoury and sweet interval bites. You can also order a tasty evening menu for your group.

Information about accessibility

Our theatre is fully accessible. On both sides of the large stage there are two wheelchair spaces. There is also wheelchair access to the small stage [club]. An induction loop system is in operation on both stages. If desired, hearing aids can be set to the T position.
