Kuusankoski
Kuusankoski is located close to the city centre and Veturi Shopping Center.
- The centre of Kuusankoski is open and park-like, green and pleasant. Route-6 runs along the north-south axis, dividing the eastern and western parts of the centre. Services are distributed fairly evenly on both sides. The face of the centre changed quite a bit when a new shopping centre and bus connections were completed in 2009.
- The Kymijoki River cuts through the centre of Kuusankoski. Walking paths hug the shoreline and a fine park next to the Kuusaa bridge hosts two striking landmarks, the town hall and library. Kuusankoski is made up of a number of residential districts, which all share close proximity to nature and convenient access to services in the centre.
- Hotel Sommelo is located in the centre of Kuusankoski.
