Maatilamatkailu Tuhannen Tarinan Talo – Farmhouse Accommodation
The House of a Thousand Tales is a family business which was founded in 1996 and is located in Kannuskoski village between Kouvola and Lappeenranta. The farm has stood in this place for a hundred years. Some people think we are located “in the middle of nowhere”, while others think that all roads lead to Kannuskoski... We know that every visitor has a place in our hearts. That is why a trip to the countryside usually turns out to be worth it, and many tales are told about these visits! Come and stay with us and spend your holiday here in the company of family or friends. We organise family events, team building days, meetings, school trips and camps.
Nature, and the varied opportunities for different activities to increase wellbeing and relax that it offers, is the main attraction here at the House of a Thousand Tales. Another important aspect of what we offer here at the House of a Thousand Tales is Finnish traditions, including the sauna. Locally produced food, using renewable energy sources and our location, which may even be reasonably close to you, mean that holidays spent with us are at least a tiny bit more environmentally friendly. And don’t forget the joys of the countryside – especially children who visit us often see the farm animals as the high point of their holiday.
We would like to warmly welcome you to the House of a Thousand Tales!
