Pioneeripuisto - Historic area

Pioneeripuisto, 45610 Koria

Pioneeripuisto is a historic area, located in Koria, right next to the Kymijoki River. The Russians originally built the area and construction work began on 1911, and by 1915 there were 12 redbrick buildings built in the area. Some of the buildings are still in the area.

In 1994 the area was opened to the public and in 2019 Pioneeripuisto will be the home to the Housing Fair of 2019.
