Puhjonranta Learning Centre

Puhjonranta Learning Centre provides groups with the perfect conditions for organizing camps, meetings and celebrations, surrounded by beautiful nature.  The Kouvola parishes built the training centre on the site of the old manor in Valkea in 1982.

Puhjonranta is located on the shores of the crystal clear lake Rapojärvi in Valkeala. The camp centre provides accommodation, catering and meeting facilities. Puhjonranta can accommodate 150 people.  For meetings, there is an auditorium and several meeting rooms with equipment. The camp centre has its own kitchen whose staff provide for their guests’ comfort from morning to night.  

Puhjonranta is a place to just be or be active in all sorts of ways.

The large, leafy grounds have a playground, tennis court, volleyball court and football pitch. Don't forget to pack your running shoes: the centre’s own jogging path winds through the terrain.  You can relax around the camp fire or in a cabin in the woods and there’s so much to explore in the surrounding nature. Let off steam in the lakeside sauna and hop off the jetty to swim in lake Rapojärvi. Puhjonranta has everything you need for a fantastic camp experience.
